Senior Manager, Accounts ReceivableLocation: New York City
Compensation: $100,000-$140,000
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 remote)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing consumer products company in New York City to hire a Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable. This is a high-impact, hybrid opportunity for a strong AR leader who enjoys building and developing teams, optimizing processes, and partnering cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, and Operations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, reconciliations, and aging analysis
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4, setting clear goals and driving performance
- Analyze aging reports and payment trends to mitigate risk, reduce past-due balances, and improve cash flow
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, particularly within cash application
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to resolve billing issues and enhance workflows
- Ensure accuracy of AR records and maintain strong internal controls
- Develop reporting and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights and forecasts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience managing and developing an Accounts Receivable team
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs); exposure to Power BI is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to streamline and enhance workflows
- Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leadership
