Financial Accountant - North Sydney - $110-130K + Super

A rare opportunity to join a well-established investment business in a stunning North Sydney office location. Working closely with the CFO, this role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, corporate entities, investments, compliance, and treasury activities within a highly professional environment. This position is ideally suited to a Financial Accountant coming directly from a Family Office, Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investment Management, or broader Financial Services environment who enjoys a hands-on role and wants to be part of a team with genuine work-life balance.

Your new role
-Monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
-Managing statutory compliance including BAS, payroll tax and other lodgements
-End-to-end payroll oversight, including STP, PAYG and superannuation
-Cash flow management and treasury support
-Accounts payable and receivable oversight
-Maintaining accurate general ledger records
-Supporting entity administration and corporate governance requirements
-Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders
-Assisting with investment accounting and reporting activities
-Contributing to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects

What you'll need to succeed

-CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion-3+ years' experience within a Family Office or Financial Services organisation
-Strong financial accounting and compliance experience
-Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
-Advanced Excel capability
-A proactive, hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership
