Description

Lincoln Housing Authority is in search of a Finance Director to organize and direct the business operations and activities of the agency, affiliated tax credit projects and non-profit entities.  Manages the Business Department of the Agency in compliance with regulatory guidelines and Agency policies; performs directly related work as required. 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, public administration or accounting, along with considerable administrative and supervisory experience in public management. Thorough knowledge and experience in accounting practices particularly in a PHA, nonprofit or governmental agency setting. Experience with creating and coordinating the development and implementation of a fiscal year budget. Experience in preparing financial reports. Ability to interpret governmental housing directives and to establish consistent policies and procedures for subordinate staff. CPA desired.
