Description
The CompanyJoin a SGX-listed firm who is looking for the next phase of growth within the energy industry. Due to business expansion, we are recruiting for a hands-on and commercially driven Finance Director to work closely with the leadership team.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO and managing a team, you will be overseeing the overall finance and accounting responsibilities as well as supporting business growth by establishing robust costing frameworks and unit economics to enhance pricing and margin management. Partner closely with commercial and engineering teams to ensure disciplined contract evaluation and profitability. Implement performance tracking and variance analysis across projects and operations. Strengthen inventory, procurement, and working capital management practices. Lead execution of M&A, divestments, and corporate restructuring initiatives. Drive capital strategy and fundraising activities, including engagement with banks and investors. Oversee SGX compliance and financial reporting standards. Manage investor relations, communication strategies, and market engagement. Strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks across the Group. Partner with business units to enhance operational processes and risk management practices. Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes, and tax compliance.
Your Profile
To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 15 years of relevant experience ideally in Big 4 and commercial firms within the energy, utility or infrastructure/project based industries. It is essential to have strong knowledge in both finance and commercial decision-making with track record in M&A, fundraising and corporate transactions. It will be advantageous to have prior experience in implementing ERP systems. We are looking for a strong finance leader with excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills.
