Director of Finance - Summa Health System and Medina ASC
Full-time / 40 hours per week
Akron City Hospital
Responsible for financial leadership, analysis, and monitoring for Summa Health System and Medina Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), working collaboratively with hospital leadership, finance and other executive leaders as necessary. This position serves as a business partner to the operations and finance teams to drive annual operating/capital budgets, interpret financial results, complete periodic forecasts, introduce performance initiatives, and complete strategic/capital and operational business plans. Shares responsibility for running Monthly Operating Reviews with Hospital, Provider and Executive Leadership. Partners with Strategy to ensure alignment between Finance and Strategy objectives.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Master’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field preferred
- Experience & Training:
- Minimum three (3) years in a financial leadership role with manager-level responsibilities or above, with experience in a large multi-entity corporate finance department. Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
