Job Title: Project Accounting / AP Specialist (Contract - 4 Months)
Location: Cranbury, NJ (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $30-$35/hour
Start Date: Immediate

About the Opportunity:
A well-establishedorganization is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative accounting professional to join their team on a 4-month contract assignment. This is a fully on-site role offering hands-on exposure to project accounting, accounts payable, and job costing in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support job costing functions, including data entry and maintenance within the job cost system
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate tracking of project financials
• Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and vendor communication
• Assist with billing and Accounts Receivable activities
• Provide administrative support related to subcontracts
• Maintain accurate financial records with strong attention to detail
• Proactively support the team with a how can I help mindset

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, engineering, or architecture industries strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (CRE) is a plus
• Hands-on experience with job costing and project-based accounting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fully on-site, team-oriented environment
