We are partnering with a well-established professional services firm seeking a motivated Accountant or Senior Accountant to join their collaborative team.This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused accounting professional looking to further develop their technical expertise, build strong client relationships, and contribute to a supportive and professional environment.

Your new role
As part of an established accounting team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, providing accounting, taxation and advisory services to businesses and individuals across a range of industries.Key responsibilities may include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and related compliance requirements
• Managing client relationships and responding to client enquiries
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory engagements
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external clients
• Supporting junior team members where required
• Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and business processes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will possess:

• Approximately 3-5 years' accounting experience within a professional practice environment
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entities
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Progress towards or completion of CA or CPA qualifications will be highly regarded
