Description
DESCRIPTION:Duties: Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting and SEC submissions for JPMC's Treasury and CIO North America organizations. Coordinate consolidation and support of global TCIO regulatory reporting and SEC reporting. Support and execute on control initiatives to maintain and improve the control environment including those relating to SOX testing. Create and enhance documentation relating to policies and financial reporting process. Provide financial support and expertise to Treasury and CIO North America business partners. Assist in global implementation of new or enhanced financial reporting and accounting policy. Perform ad hoc research on financial reporting, accounting policies and processes associated with new and existing products. Assist with new business initiatives, working directly with various stakeholders including business management, legal and risk functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as External Reporting Controller, Accountant, Auditor, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year experience with the following: Problem solving in reporting discrepancies, differences between RAP fed reporting, GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and data source feeding to system error; Control and compliance of financial data, SEC reporting and regulatory reporting; Derivatives, hedge accounting and Deposits; SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) control process and testing. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Performing reconciliation among reporting data between subsystems and ledger for deposit and derivatives; Creating documentation to identify data source and data details from subledger systems; Controlling concept of the process and completing procedure steps related to deposit, parent company financial reporting of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and memo items.

Full-Time. Salary: $100,500 - $115,000 per year.
