A leading international bank is seeking an experienced credit professional to join its regional credit team in Singapore. This role focuses on underwriting, approving and monitoring structured financing transactions across Asia, working closely with front office teams on complex deal structures and portfolio oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and review new structured financing transactions, providing independent credit analysis and recommendations to approval authorities.
• Evaluate deal structures, financial projections and risk mitigants for leveraged, fund financing or similar structured credit transactions.
• Monitor and manage an assigned credit portfolio, including ongoing risk assessment and proactive management of underperforming exposures.
• Prepare concise credit papers summarising transaction risks, mitigants and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Partner with front office and risk teams on transaction structuring, credit monitoring and portfolio risk management.

Requirements

• ~10+ years' experience in credit risk, leveraged finance, structured finance or related roles within a financial institution.
• Experience analysing or structuring transactions such as leveraged/LBO financing or fund NAV facilities
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to evaluate financial statements, projections and complex deal structures.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and structured credit transactions across Asia.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders across front office, risk and senior management.
